Working closely together with the UK Department of International Trade we produced a series of moving and visual art pieces celebrating the process of the 12-month long community and professional making of Moving Cities Hong Kong, a placemaking project that brings together the Royal Academy of Dance, Hong Kong Ballet, Conran & Partners, The Urban Renewal Authority, MTR and Hong Kong Design Centre.
Conran and Partners’ Tina Norden who collaborated with us on the project explains, ‘We had to take this beautiful collection of work and make it a physical reality within the sensitivities of a very public space. You want it to be provocative and immersive without being too intense or controversial. There’s so much variety and detail that you can really engage with it on your own terms.’
Wind & Foster have transformed the lower platforms of a busy Hong Kong MTR station into a static but living stage as part the Artin MTR culture programme.
