Overview
Tavaziva was established in 2004 by Zimbabwean-born Bawren Tavaziva and is led by his unique choreographic synthesis of ballet, contemporary and African dance.
Wind & Foster worked with Tavaziva’s highly trained ensemble to create a reinterpretation of their latest work ‘Africarmen’, a mesmerising piece with stunning choreography. Our film plays out various themes from the production using an oil based signage to define the tragedy and corruption that follows the protagonist.
