The North East Exhibition

Overview
Moving Cities North East is a multimedia exhibition partnering imagery with movement, with 18 regional dancers captured in industrial, rural and urban North East England. The large-scale photographs are choreographed with movement together for exhibition, distinguishing 20 new portraits of the region in 2017, juxtaposing dance, community and architecture to create a sense of culture across the North East.
The work premiered in Newcastle and tour galleries in Northumberland and Sunderland before returning to Dance City for permanent display and a continuous celebration of identity and heritage.
