Overview
Wind & Foster’s Award-winning cultural art project Moving Cities arrives in Hong Kong for a thrilling partnership with MTR Corporation Limited, the Hong Kong Design Centre and Hong Kong Ballet, and over 500 local community residents.
‘This is Wan Chai’ is an action-packed installation told through a series of large-scale panoramic images, as 45 ballet dancers hit the streets of Hong Kong’s most iconic neighbourhood to catch the last train.
Members of the public look on as Hong Kong Ballet’s principals, soloists and corps de ballet not so gracefully race through Johnston Road, The Blue House, Francis Street, Mallory Street and Wan Chai Market. Directed by Jevan Chowdhury with choreography by Septime Webre.
